Blooming and Buzzing

Spring is here! We had lovely weather after Easter, so I just had to take a few pictures.

 Primroses and liverwort

 A male Osmia cornuta, or European orchard bee. A solidary, wild species of bees. They do not produce honey but collect and store the pollen in their nests to feed their larvae.

Buddy, It's COLD Outside

It's currently really cold in Austria - down to below -20°C! Even in the cities it's freezing. Luckily, it's at least been quite sunny, and we went skiing and sledging in Mariazell.

 And then suddenly a very friendly kitten on the sledging slope!

Still spooky, but also pretty.

Here it doesn't look haunted anymore, but mystical, as we could spot Elves dancing around anytime.
